Try a Class for Free

Your child can join a regular session at the Pleasant Hill Senior Center, work alongside the other students, and take part in the discussion. You can observe or drop off. You'll see how the material is taught and how the group works together.

How it works:
    1    Fill out the form below and pick a class and date.
    2    Kirsten will email you to confirm, with the room number and anything to bring.
    
Timing: Each session is built around one book and the skills build week to week, so a student visiting later in a session will be joining a conversation already underway. That's fine, and it's still a good look at how the class runs.

And if you decide to stay, you don't have to wait for the next session to start. You're welcome to join mid-session and pay a prorated amount for the classes that are left.

Free trials are available for Building Blocks of Language (grades 3–4) and Developing Writers (grades 5–6).
